I am a graphic designer with a keen interest in photography, starting way back when I was allowed to process black and white in my school darkroom. My love for photography grew from these days in high school and the excitement of getting your photo's back to see what had worked and what hadn't.
The journey continued into my tertiary studies and was excited to find out that photography was part of my graphic design course, so a camera was never too far away!!
Once graduating and working in the design industry photography took a back seat until I went to live overseas in London and the passion was reignited. Every adventure took on a new meaning when a camera is in your hands, I would look at things differently and see things that many would not.
On returning back home and moving to Melbourne, I decided to take my photography further and accepted a place at RMIT to study photography, however two years in and I moved back to Sydney and went head deep back into design.
As a passion photography has always been part of my life, sometimes more than others, I am always looking at things as if it would be a great photo. The COVID lockdown has allowed me to take time and rediscover the enjoyment and beauty that is photography for me and I want to set myself projects that will allow me to be with camera more often and be more of a photographer than designer.
So I hope you enjoy my shots as much as I do taking them!
